MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL

WARNING:  Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age.  Keep that product out of reach of babies.  If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.  

USES:  Vitamins are the builidng blocks of the body.  <br/><br/>They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or duirng pregnancy.  

HOW TO USE:  Take as direcetd. <br/><br/>Food may affect the absoprtion of certain vitamin products. However,  vitamin products may be best taken with food.  Consult your pharmacist. <br/><br/>

SIDE EFFECTS:  This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.  <br/>Consult your doctor if any of tehse effects persist or become severe. <br/><br/>If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.  

PRECAUTIONS:  Tell your doctor your meidcal history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies). 

DRUG INTERACTIONS:  Tell your dotcor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. <br/>Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.  

OVERDOSE:  If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symtpoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.  

NOTES:  There are many vitamin supplement products availbale.  Some can be purchased without a prescription.   Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a prdouct best for you. <br/>

MISSED DOSE:  Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. <br/><br/>Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usaul dosing schedule.  <br/>Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up. <br/>

STORAGE:  Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.   Keep out of the raech of babies.]]></description>
